lton Jones, Sr. has had a long and remarkable career in the world of professional bass fishing. The lanky Texan has amassed three million dollars in winnings which puts him in a very select category. He just scored a huge $100,000 win in the Major League Fishing Heavy Hitters event on Shearon Harris Reservoir outside of Raleigh, North Carolina. The weather drove the bass onto the spawn after the event began and that played into Alton Jones hands perfectly.
